| Description | This private residence is located in the old historical city center of St.Petersburg, a 5 minutes walk from Nevsky Prospect. The address is 5th Sovetskaya Street No. 21.
The apartment itself is spacious and very light. In 2003 the apartment has been renovated during 9 months according to western european standards. While renovating we tried to save the old substance and succeeded in preserving most of the old mouldings and spent considerable effort to restore some of the old wooden flooors.
There is a spacious entrance hall, where the heated floors are tiled. This is in particular nice in winter, when you return home with cold feet.
In the entrance area near the wardrobe we have placed a small computer corner connected to broadband internet.
Our house is an old one and we wanted to leave the old rooms planning, that is why we don?t have ensuite bathrooms. The guests of our 4 rooms have to share two big bathrooms (two by two in case all four rooms are booked at the same time) bathroom1 & bathroom2 with a shower. Located near the entrance, both bathrooms have floor heating.
In the middle of the apartment is a spacious lighted kitchen, which can be also used as a common room. In the kitchen you can help yourself with coffee or tea anytime you wish to. You can also heat up your food you?ve brought or even cooked.
All rooms have high (3.2m) molded ceilings, big windows and a wooden floor. The design of the rooms is functional and unpretentious: pine furniture, white ceilings, pastel shades walls and curtains. 3 rooms are equiped with twin beds. Room 4 has a queen-size bed.
All rooms are equiped with with bedside tables, a big wardrobe, a mirror and a table with 2-3 chairs. The big rooms additionally contain a big sofa that turns into a queen-size bed.
One of the big room also has a nice balcony.
